Location

Argassi is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Zakynthos. It is very close to the center of the island built along a nice beach. Argassi's popularity is constantly increasing, as the area offers every possible convenience to the visitors. There are many bars, restaurants and shops. There is frequent bus service to the town of Zakynthos. One may also easily rent a car, jeep, bicycle or motor-bike to explore Zakynthos island. There is also a taxi rank on Argassi's main road, next to the sea. There are quite a few Greek  taverns and restaurants along the main road, offering comprehensive menus from the Greek and International cuisine (mainly English, Chinese and Italian). The beach at Argassi may not be the widest in the island, but it's lengthy, clean and sandy. There are services for all popular water sports and there are also beach showers, sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. Argassi, being located next to the town of Zakynthos and having a lot of popular clubs and bars, offers a thrilling nightlife experience. Most of the clubs stay open until late.
