Overview

Beautifully constructed, built and run by the family of Tasos, Pavlina and their two children, Kostas and Elina, the villas are set in the most picturesque of places along the coast of Aboula-Psarou Beach. All family members speak English, Italian and German. Escape from the routine of daily life and take in the culture and surroundings of an unspoilt Greek holiday!

Rooms

Our little village is divided into eight traditional stone – built houses, combining local tradition with one of the best beach spots on Zakynthos island! Four villas have two storeys and four are single storey. They all form a horse shoe design, facing towards the sea. All villas have sea views from outside and in!

The houses are of various sizes and can accommodate up to 6 people. All are superbly furnished and tastefully decorated in keeping with the traditional style. Spacious living rooms, large comfortable bedrooms with double or single beds and air-conditioning. Fully equipped kitchens include cooker, big fridge/freezer, wooden table that seats 4-6 and a full range of utensils. Spacious bathrooms which all contain baths and/or showers. Large balconies and verandas, fully equipped, all offering panoramic sea views!

Villa AMPHITRITE 50 m2 (up to 4 persons)

Living room-kitchen with big traditional couch (can sleep 2), flat TFT/TV - DVD set and a window-door leading to the seafront veranda. One bedroom with queen's size bed and air-conditioning (with balcony door to the second veranda). One luxury bathroom with window and shower glass room. Both verandas are fully equipped with table for eating-out at fresco, chairs, sun beds and sun-umbrellas: One is facing the garden and the sea and the other has direct, panoramic sea-view! Direct sea-views also from inside the villa!!

Villa ERATO 40 m2 (up to 4 persons)

Living room-kitchen with big traditional couch (can sleep 2), flat screen TV/DVD set, a queen's size bed and air-conditioning. One spacious and luxury bathroom with bath and shower. One large veranda fully equipped with table for eating out, chairs, sun beds and sun-umbrellas, facing the garden and the sea. Sea-views also from inside the villa !!

Villa PASITHEA  48 m2 (up to 4 persons)

Living room-kitchen with a big traditional couch (can sleep 2) and a flat TFT/TV - DVD set and a window-door leading to the seafront veranda. One bedroom with queen's size bed and air-conditioing (with balcony door to the second veranda). One luxury bathroom with window and bath with shower. A 2-floor villa with the followings:

Downstairs: Kitchen - Living groom with big traditional wooden couch (sleeps 1) and flat TFT-TV/DVD set. One bedroom with two single beds and air conditioning, a suit bathroom with window and shower glass-room. A large veranda fully equipped with table for eating at fresco, sun- umbrella, sun beds and chairs, facing the garden and the sea!

Upstairs: The master bedroom with a double queen's size bed, air conditioning and spacious bathroom with window and bath-shower. From the master bedroom a window door is leading to the wooden balcony with amazing panoramic sea and garden views!! Direct sea views also from inside the villa! The villa is air-conditioned in both bedrooms.

Villa TERPSICHORE 85 m2 (up to 6 persons)

A 2-floor villa with the followings:

Downstairs: Kitchen - Dining-room. One bedroom with two single beds and air-conditioning. A window door is leading to a spacious and fully equipped veranda. One spacious bathroom with window and shower glass-room.

Upstairs: A Living room with traditional couch (sleeps 2) and flat screen LCD TV/DVD. The door is leading to a spacious and fully equipped balcony over the arch with magnificent sea-view! A master bedroom with a double queen's size bed, air conditioning and a window door leading to a balcony with magnificent views! A second spacious and luxury bathroom with window and glass shower room with bidet. Sea-views also obtained from inside the villa!!

Villa CLEO 70 m2 (up to 6 persons)

A 2-floor villa with the followings:

Ground Floor : Kitchen - Living groom with big traditional wooden couch (sleeps 1) and flat TFT-TV/DVD set. One bedroom with two single beds and one spacious bathroom with air conditioning, window and bath with shower. A large veranda, fully equipped (table for eating at fresco, sun- umbrella, sun beds, chairs) facing the garden and the sea!

Upstairs : The master bedroom with a double queen's size bed, air-conditioning and a suit bathroom with window and shower. From the master bedroom a window door is leading to the wooden balcony with amazing panoramic sea and garden views!! Direct sea view also from inside the villa! Villa NEPHELE 75 m2 (up to 6 persons)

A 2-floor villa with the followings:

One bedroom with two single beds, air-conditioning and a window door leading to the spacious and well equipped veranda. One bathroom with window and bath-shower. A large veranda fully equipped with table for eating at fresco, sun- umbrella, sun beds and chairs, facing the garden and the sea!

Upstairs : The master bedroom with a double queen's size bed, air-conditioning and a bathroom with window and bath-shower. Amenities

Our own private bar is located in the beautiful landscaped gardens just above the seafront. It offers refreshments, breakfast and light snacks throughout the day. We also hold a BBQ once or twice a week, or make PIZZAS in our clay oven. This offers our guests the chance to share their different cultures! We prepare local food with fresh ingredients, according to the old Zante tradition. Next to the villas, Tasos grows all the basic vegetables for the daily needs of our guests(tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines, courgettes, melons, green peppers, onions etc.) Relax in our sea front garden under our shaded pergola and enjoy a cold drink or a tasteful typical Zante meal with magnificent sea views!

Everything you need is within short walking distance from the villa (groceries, bakery, taverns). Our place is ideal for relaxing and sunbathing with private access to our golden sand and crystal, clear sea-waters (ideal for romantic walks and swims; The area is considered very safe and peaceful !!). There is not any road in front of our property and we all have direct access to our beach!!

Location

The area of Aboula- Psarou is situated between the resorts of Amoudi and Tsilivi, on the North East coast of the island of Zakynthos and is just 12 km away from Zante town. You will not find a more idyllic spot anywhere on the island. PortaDelMar villas are a quiet and peaceful haven, located over the Ionian Sea, where on a clear day you can see out to the island of Kefalonia. The pretty cove with its private sandy beach and crystal clear sea is an ideal place to relax and soak up the sun. The surrounding countryside provides interesting walks. Within walking distance (50 – 200 meters long) you can find many typical Greek tavernas, mini-markets and a bakery for your daily needs. To explore the surrounding area, car/bike hire is definitely recommended and available.
